Kesha was the original ‘Tik Tok’ singer with her first hit by that name in 2009. Now she’s using the app to perform her classic ‘Take It Off’ to a sexy dance, while fans love that she did it via TikTok. The coronavirus lock down is causing plenty of singers to put on some amazing mini-performances via Instagram and other sources. Kesha is now joining the club.
She broke through in 2009 with her first major hit “Tik Tok.” Fans are now going wild that she’s using the app service by the same name to perform a sexy dance routine to her own 2010 smash “Take It Off,” by using TikTok. The only thing better is if she’d performed “Tik Tok,” on TikTok!

The 33-year-old wrote in the caption, “If u bored like me just Take it off 👻👻👻.” She looked just as amazing as she did when she dropped the song a decade ago. In the video, she wears a black leather jacket with fringe accents. Its matches her nearly jet-black hair perfectly. She initially starts by stripping it off her shoulder while looking behind at the camera. Then Kesha turns around and does a sexy dance routine for her chorus that’s far more intense that her 2010 music video. Fans went wild when she shared it to her Instagram on April 1. User natevigeant wrote, “The real queen of tik tok,” while major___robinson added, “LITERALLY INVENTED TIKTOK.” beccaonthefritz predicted, ‘watching this blow up on tiktok in 3…2….1 😂💚⚡️.”

Kesha already did a TikTok video to her 2010 song “Cannibal” and the dance she performed has been copied endlessly by her animals. Kesha just announced on March 31 that she was postponing the rest of her tour due coronavirus concerns and safe distancing. “Animals, I have to accept the current situation and postpone my High Road tour,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m sorry :( I take an enormous amount of pride in making my shows a safe place for anyone no matter what, so with that in mind, my team is working hard to reschedule my tour for later in the year. Hold on to your tickets as they will be honored at the new shows and keep an eye on www.bitchimblessed.com for more information on the new dates, to be announced soon.” She added, “Y’all know that my live show is my absolute favorite part of making music, creating wild, beautiful memories and singing, dancing, crying and losing my mind onstage with all of u.

I’m sad that I wont see you as soon as I had hoped, but it’s more important that we all keep each other safe. I love u all and hope u all stay healthy and well. 💝🌈💝 In the meantime I’ll share as many happy stupid pictures and videos that will hopefully be mildly entertaining.” She did just that with her “Take It Off” TikTok video.

Man, shout out to Nicolas Kim Coppola, known professionally as Nicolas Cage. He's won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and countless other trophies over the course of his 30+ years in the acting biz. A legendary and consistent figure in Hollywood, he — along with the characters that he's played — has inspired so many to do what they love and do it damn good. Clearly, after binging Cage movies (or just having a spur-of-the-moment realization that he's her favorite actor ever), Kesha has released a new song inspired by him. It doesn't have a name (yet), but it's seemingly this 2019 tweet from her brought to life. Captioned "mood" on Twitter, Kesha uploaded the tune as the score to a one-minute montage clip of Cage's scenes. A feisty techno lifeline in the background sets the stage for Kesha to express her love for the actor who she met for the first time this January. "Nicolas, Nicolas, I'm on my Nicolas Cage shit," she excitedly whispers like it's a secret that she shouldn't be revealing. Who knows if this will become a full song, but it'll be interesting to see a crowd of people wearing Cage masks while dancing to it at a concert.

Though she remains locked in a long-running legal war with powerhouse music producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, Kesha is no proverbial shrinking violet. The veteran singer-songwriter just released a new album, 2020’s joyous “High Road,” which Variety described as “the sound of reclamation and abandon, of finding her form and shedding old skin.” And so, after listening to that courageous rebound, it’s little surprise that this reborn Kesha has seen fit to upgrade her residential circumstances in a bold and impressive new way.

The 33-year-old Tennessee native, who first burst onto the music scene in 2009 and has since sold 134 million records nationwide, remains perhaps best-known for her mega-hit “TiK ToK,” though she’s also racked up multiple other top 10 songs (“Your Love Is My Drug,” “We R Who We R,” “Blow.”) And though her musical career has been overshadowed by the much-publicized Dr. Luke lawsuit, she’s unapologetically paid $5 million for a brand-new home in L.A.’s increasingly expensive Westside neighborhood of Mar Vista.

Built on speculation by a local developer, the nearly 6,000 sq. ft. main house was completed in 2019. Within the slick wood-and-concrete exterior, the house offers chic hardwood floors, neutral decor and a fireplace-equipped living room with high ceilings. There’s also an open kitchen with a massive island, quartz cabinetry and designer appliances, plus an adjacent formal dining area.

The main house also packs in five bedrooms, and the upstairs master contains a private balcony, spa-style bath with soaking tub and a Rodeo Drive boutique-style dressing room. Naturally, this is also a full-fledges “smart home” with a full range of security cameras, a sophisticated home automation system and and speakers in each room.

Out back, the landscaping is kept simple with a spacious grassy lawn, slick concrete pavers for outdoor entertaining, and a vast swimmer’s pool with inset spa. But perhaps the best recreational feature is the two-story detached guesthouse, which contains another two bedrooms, two baths and also functions as an open-air movie theater — a projector that projects onto the side of the guesthouse, so guests can watch a movie from the backyard.
It’s not particularly surprising that Kesha would opt to buy in Mar Vista; she’s got a documented fondness for this particular area of Los Angeles. Back in 2014, she picked up a small bungalow in the trendy nearby neighborhood of Venice, Calif., though she sold ultimately sold that $1.7 million place after barely a year of ownership. And in 2016, she sold a $1.4 million mini-compound in Nashville, Tenn. to a non-famous buyer.
Laci Buller of Compass held the listing; Peter Lorimer of PLG Estates repped Kesha.
